Your Key Responsibilities

You will assist the Merchandiser in the collation of relevant data and analysing the information needed for range building, placing consumer buys, budget and stock optimisation.

Reports & Data

  • Working with Merch Admin, oversee creation and update of Key merchandising reports for the business
  • Be the key stake holder of Data for Frugi, asses the data to check the validity, relevance and accuracy of the data provided.
  • Manipulate the reports and analyse the information to formulate conclusions, updating & building analysis of performance & distributing to the wider business.
  • Input appropriate analysis attributes against products to enable reports to be generated
  • Supporting the team & the Merchandiser with weekly, monthly and seasonal sales reporting for the business.
  • Utilising key trading documents, identify trading actions to drive sales, clear stock and maximise profit.
  • Accurately update, monitor and maintain data sources to ensure information is updated for ad hoc and routine reporting purposes. Work with reports to improve efficiency of the department.

In Season Trading

  • Provide Ad-Hoc reports & analysis at the request of the Merchandiser & the wider business.
  • Support Ecommerce & Marketing teams to action any price changes & status changes of products.
  • Assist the Merchandiser in building Off-Price packages for Trade.
  • Support the Merchandising team in building ranges for promotional activity & markdown.
  • Work alongside the Merch team to manage the accuracy of data in MNP.
  • Regularly reviewing stock reports for all sales channels (at Gender/category level) – feedback analysis to the Merchandiser in a timely manner.

Range Planning

  • Create all size ratios for consumer & consignment purchases, based on previous performance.
  • Build previous season analysis & bestsellers to inform the Merchandiser for future range planning.
  • Attend & note take key range planning meetings throughout the season alongside the team & Merchandiser & support the team with actions derived from these meetings.
  • Assist the Merch team in building the Range Plan.
  • Work with Buying, Trade & the wider Merch team to build the information needed for PO placing.
  • Work alongside the Sales team & Merchandiser to build ranges for Consumer each season.
  • Create reports & analysis for the performance of Consumer & identify key trends & opportunities.

Consignment

  • Cover any ad hoc queries in Junior Merch’s absence.

Purpose:

To assist the Buyers in sourcing and delivering to the business beautiful, ethically made product range of commercially viable products that reflect the brand values and meet company objectives. Helping to manage the production cycle from the ordering of stock to delivering the seasonal collections on time in full, whilst maintaining the accuracy of product data.

Your Key Responsibilities:

Critical Path Management

  • Follow critical path to ensure all deadlines are met and progress visible company wide.
  • Coordinate production and shipment deadlines to maintain on time, in full compliant deliveries.
  • Track production deadlines to the company critical path and relevant progress visible company wide.
  • Raise stock purchase orders within critical path deadlines.
  • Book and coordinate inbound logistics.
  • Build a relationship with our Logistics partner and enable best account handling.
  • Booking in and seasonal stock management.
  • Understand our trade customer terms and set up our suppliers to ensure they are able to meet any special requirements.

Sample Control

  • Communicate with suppliers on a daily basis to ensure samples are progressing against critical path deadlines.
  • Liaise with Design and Garment Tech to ensure tech packs are fully complete and all necessary information is included for sending to suppliers.
  • Assemble the red seal order requirement for each season and set up the necessary systems and tracking.
  • Monitor production of red seal orders to ensure correct and timely delivery of samples from suppliers.
  • Log and organize samples as they arrive from suppliers.
  • Obtain sample prices to review with the buyer against the company margin goal on new products.
  • Conduct benchmarking new products for key attributes against other brands.

Suppliers

  • Assist the Buyers to develop new suppliers, cross cost and re-source products where necessary, to meet the manufacturing needs of the growing product range.
  • Coordinate between the supplier, Design and Garment Tech to ensure products are delivered as specified on tech pack.
  • Support Buyers in all administrative tasks to aid progression of products and supply chain. Assist with supplier forecasts, target pricing and price negotiation.
  • Maintain reporting tool to monitor supplier performance.
  • Assist suppliers to manage their supply chain e.g. packaging and trims to ensure deadlines are met, lead-times reduced, costs optimized and ethical, organic standards maintained.
  • Accurately update, monitor & maintain data sources to ensure accurate information is available at all times for ad-hoc and routine reporting purposes.
  • Allocate new product codes, descriptions, and barcodes in agreed format.

Factory Assistant - Monday to Friday

Reporting to the Factory Manager, this is a general factory role to assist in the cutting, gluing and checking teams to safe guard a high standard of customer experience through the timely and accurate processing of work through the factory and the efficient and accurate dispatch of goods to the warehouse.

Key Elements of Role:

  • On a weekly basis, the Factory Manager will direct you to your area within the factory to ensure that the work in progress through the factory is kept at a constant level. On occasions, you may be required to change roles part way through the week to cover absence or spike in orders.
  • Once assigned to your area, you should ensure that you are in regular contact with the appropriate team leader for daily work load targets, and to keep up-to-date with any new work-methods and systems.
  • You should record all work achieved on daily work sheets provided, at all times ensuring urgent orders are prioritised and handled without any unnecessary delay, and any non-barcode work is accurately annotated on your work sheet. You should scan all your barcodes onto the factory IT system at the end of each working day.

Within each team you are responsible for:

Glue Room

  • Prep soles and glue and finish footwear to company standards to ensure products are safely processed to agreed targets and within the agreed quality standards in accordance with departmental policy; Assist with any deliveries, checking for quality & counting in against all delivery notes, highlighting inconsistencies to the Factory Manager.

Checking Team

  • Accurately check the quality of goods produced by the factory or goods imported from outside, processing all work within agreed targets and to the quality standards in accordance with departmental policy; Apply metal work to products as required; Maintain accurate records of all items checked and delivered to the warehouse.

Glue Room

  • Prep soles and glue and finish footwear to company standards to ensure products are safely processed to agreed targets and within the agreed quality standards in accordance with departmental policy; Assist with any deliveries, checking for quality & counting in against all delivery notes, highlighting inconsistencies to the Factory Manager.

Cutting Team

  • Accurately cut out sheepskin products as agreed with the Factory Manager, including (but not limited to) slippers, mules and fluffies, ensuring at all times that sheepskin usage is maximised to its full, waste is kept to a minimum and quality standards are maintained at all times; Glue insoles as required; Assist with deliveries, checking for quality & suitability, counting in against all delivery notes, highlighting inconsistencies to the Factory Manager.
  • Work with the Factory Management Team on your personal training & development needs in order to effectively carry out roles as described above. This may include, but not be limited to, learning to work with the Eastman Cutting Knife and Hot Notcher.
  • Provide assistance in the warehouse during quiet factory periods and where necessary assist with any warehouse relief to help ensure smooth dispatch levels are maintained.
  • Maintain regular, consistent and professional attendance, punctuality, personal appearance, and adherence to relevant health & safety procedures.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, supervisors and the general public.
  • Ensure all waste is kept to a minimum and where possible rubbish is recycled using all the appropriate bins.

Head of Product & Buying (Maternity Cover - 12 Months)

About the Role:

As Head of Product & Buying you’ll lead the product team; driving the delivery of the range; maximising the potential of product and target audience, developing seasonal direction, stories and shapes in line with brand identity.

You’ll work closely with suppliers, effectively negotiating all deliveries and cost prices, managing the garment technologist to ensure the correct fit and quality are achieved and ensuring all suppliers are on-boarded and adhere to the code of ethics.

You will own the company product sustainability & sourcing strategies, ensuring this is communicated and monitored with suppliers and within company, driving sustainability as a forefront to the brand identity.

This role encompasses all elements of the range, Women’s, Menswear and Accessories, Footwear, Kids and Homeware.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • The role will include using step ladders and lifting boxes of stock (up to 15kg).
  • You will use a mobile handheld device to accurately pick and sort customer orders.
  • You will achieve the daily performance target for the task and work to deadlines.

The Candidate

  • Will have a level of fitness capability for the regular lifting of 15kg boxes on and off shelving and the use of step ladders.
  • Will have experience performing in a fast-paced environment.
  • Will be friendly and enjoy working as part of a team.
  • Will be computer literate, efficient and accurate with data entry.
  • Will be capable of working individually, unsupervised whilst maintaining work rate.
  • Will be reliable, self-motivated and punctual.
  • Will manage their time well and be able to work efficiently whilst maintaining accuracy.
  • Should be open to working on a multitude of warehouse tasks when required.
  • Full training will be provided to the successful applicant.
